After putting two AAA batteries into the back of the tool, press the distance button to turn it on. To measure distance, align the back of the tool with one point and press the distance buttons. Stanley STHT77425 TLM30 Pocket Laser Distance Measurer is only two and a half inches long, one of the quarters is wide, 5/8 inches high and it only weighs .2 pounds. It's rechargeable. You just pull up the little flap and there is an included USB cable that will allow you to recharge it.

How to use:

First you turn it on and this gives you information about your battery charge. There's a little flashing asterisk that means that the laser is on. It stays on for 15 seconds. To operate the laser distance measure, just press the read On-Button and that activates the laser.

Then you will align the back of the laser distance measure with the end of the countertop and press the button one more time and that measures the distance from the back of the countertop here to the backsplash.

This pocket laser distance measure has a range of 30 feet plus or minus 1/4 of an inch. In comparison to DeWalt DW065E distance measurer, this one is much smaller. DeWalt DW065E has a range of 65 feet plus or minus one eighth of an inch. DeWalt DW065E costs about $35 more and it's more accurate.

Verdict

If you want something this that is real lightweight handy it you don't need to measure or 30 feet this is really nice it's very light if you need something that's more accurate with a greater range you might go with this DeWalt .

DeWalt DW030PL 30-foot pocket laser distance measurer is a rechargeable unit to measure distance with leisure light. DeWalt pocket laser distance measurer is absolutely great for people especially the perhaps real-estate people who want to measure up rooms. People want it to decorate with furniture. It makes really quick of measurements.

DeWalt pocket laser distance measurer is very similar to the Stanley pocket laser distance measure. They are very similar. They are the exact same size and weight.
